[English below] Em dezembro de 2022 foi realizada a ação artística “Universidade Sonhada”, no saguão do Instituto de Humanidades, Artes e Ciências Professor Milton Santos, da Universidade Federal da Bahia. A ação coletiva foi resultado do processo de mediação cultural e artística construída coletivamente entre alunas, alunos e professora do Bacharelado Interdisciplinar em Artes.
Ao construir o programa do componente “Ação e mediação cultural para as artes”, tinha como grande preocupação o retorno das estudantes ao campus universitário após dois anos de pandemia e aulas remotas. Como encontraríamos o espaço físico da universidade? Como seria a integração coletiva ao vivo? Como imaginar um novo futuro político e cultural para este lugar formativo de nossas vidas?
Foram desses questionamentos que o programa foi sendo construído, com a contribuição direta das alunas e dos alunos. Nossos encontros foram divididos em uma primeira parte teórica e uma segunda parte de exercícios lúdicos. Algumas metodologias nasceram deste processo: autorretratos coletivos, amor inscrito, encontros em trânsito e residência artística imaginada. Também contamos com a Oficina Salto, facilitada pela multiartista Luísa Bahia (@luisadabahia).
O processo culminou na performance e apresentação de obras em diversas linguagens artísticas, voltados para as seguintes questões: arte e participação; arte e educação; performance e interrogação do artista; crítica aos limites institucionais da arte; experiências e perspectivas sociais. Deixo para as leitoras e leitoras algumas imagens do processo do componente e da ação artística “Universidade Sonhada”.
In December 2022, the artistic action “Dreamed University” was held in the lobby of the Institute of Humanities, Arts and Sciences Professor Milton Santos, at the Federal University of Bahia. The collective action was the result of the process of cultural and artistic mediation built collectively between students and the teacher of the Interdisciplinary Bachelor of Arts.
When building the program for the “Cultural Action and Mediation for the Arts” component, the main concern was the return of students to the university campus after two years of the pandemic and remote classes. How would we find the physical space of the university? What would live collective integration look like? How to imagine a new political and cultural future for this formative place of our lives?
It was from these questions that the program was built, with the direct contribution of the students. Our meetings were divided into a first theoretical part and a second part of playful exercises. Some methodologies were born from this process: collective self-portraits, inscribed love, encounters in transit and imagined artistic residency. We also have the Salto Workshop, facilitated by the multi-artist Luísa Bahia (@luisadabahia).
The process culminated in the performance and presentation of works in different artistic languages, focused on the following issues: art and participation; art and education; performance and interrogation of the artist; criticism of the institutional limits of art; social experiences and perspectives. I leave for the readers some images of the process of the component and of the artistic action “Dreamed University”.
